Select the type of skill you want to create and follow the instructions on the screen. 

How to create a "How Many Days Till Summer" Skill

Here's a quick guide on creating this skill so that when you ask, "Alexa, how many days till summer," you or your children will know exactly how long you have until sunshine.

First, make sure you have an Echo device with an Alexa-enabled app.

Then tap More and tap Blueprints.

Now you are ready to make magic happen!

Step 1: Schedule

In this step, you'll want to name the event. I suggest naming the event "How Many Days Till Summer" or "How many days to summer."

Next, input the Date of the event. After a quick Google search, we can see the first day of summer is on June 21, 2023. So choose 6/21/2023.

Step 2: Experience

In this step, you can customize the opening message, closing message, and sound using this Alexa skill. You can have fun with it and create your responses or use the ones Alexa suggests.

Step 3: Name

Finally, name the skill you just created. As you can see from the photo, I correctly named the skill "How many days till summer."

Step 4: Create Skill
